Architecture Services Division

The City of Santa Monica's Architecture Services Division is responsible for the planning, design, construction and management of capital improvement projects related to city-owned/leased facilities, including public buildings, community/recreation centers, parks, parking structures, libraries and fire stations.  Our goal is to incorporate the City's sustainable design directives, while maintaining a high standard of economy, utility, and aesthetics.

Clover Park Restroom Replacement: An Open House event took place at Clover Park on August 27th where participants were able to check out proposed design concepts and share ideas.

Pico Branch Library: The Pico Branch Library won three 2015 Sustainable Innovation awards from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Los Angeles Chapter for Project of the Year, the Water Efficiency Honor, and the Innovation in Design Honor. Additionally, the project is the City’s first LEED Platinum municipal building and received its official certification in 2015.

Parking Structure 6 Small

Parking Structure 6: Parking Structure 6 won two 2015 Sustainable Innovation awards from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Los Angeles Chapter for innovation in Design, Merit, and MGBCE Award of Recognition.
