To enhance/control size, flavor, ripeness or appearance: We let them grow at their own pace.
To increase soil fertility we use these cover crops: We rotate crops, turn the soil over every three months and cover with plastic around the berries, tomatoes and peppers to keep the soil moist longer.
I started farming because my mother was a farmer and I picked it up from her. I love farming because it is an outdoor job and everyday there is something different to do. I grow without pesticides because I believe farming naturally is safer for our lives and our environment. We use mostly manual equipment and grow our veggies the old way.
