Domestic Violence Unit

The Domestic Violence Unit of the Santa Monica City Attorney’s Office handles misdemeanor cases of domestic violence, elder abuse, stalking, child abuse, and criminal threats.

The Unit works closely with the Westside Domestic Violence Network to help victims of violence. A full-time advocate from Sojourn Services works with victims who have become a part of the criminal justice system.

One Deputy City Attorney handles all aspects of these sensitive cases from the time a report is received until the case has been completed.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
