Regional Partners

  • Downtown Santa Monica, Inc
    Works to ensure that Downtown Santa Monica, including the Third Street Promenade, is an enjoyable place for visitors and businesses. 
  • Home for Good L.A.
    Business leaders throughout the county committed to ending homelessness in the region and promoting permanent solutions. A joint initiative of United Way of Greater Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. 
  • Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority
    A City-County Joint Powers Authority that serves as
    the lead agency in the Los Angeles Continuum of Care, coordinating and managing over $70 million dollars annually in Federal, State, County, and City funds for programs that provide shelter, housing, and services to homeless persons.
  • Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce
    Advocates and represents member businesses on issues in the community. The Chamber's Homeless Committee meets monthly to mobilize the business community in helping to address homelessness. The Chamber presents a Business Cares award annually to business programs that provide inspirational models for others to follow in a citywide attempt to reduce homelessness.
  • Westside Shelter and Hunger Coalition
    An alliance of over 30 organizations, public agencies, and faith communities committed to ending hunger and homelessness through service coordination, public education, and advocacy.  HSD staff participate in monthly Coalition meetings. In addition, various City departments support WSHC’s two annual events: the Celebrating Success Breakfast and the SuperBowl-A-Thon fundraiser.


National Partners

  •  100,000 Homes Campaign
    The City of Santa Monica was one of the first cities in the nation to implement a Service Registry project. We are working with communities across the country to house 100,000 individuals by 2013.
  • National Coalition for Homeless Veterans
    A nonprofit organization that seeks to end homelessness among veterans by shaping public policy, promoting collaboration, and building the capacity of service providers.
