There are several ways to get to and around Santa Monica Airport. Big Blue Bus Route 14 stops at Bundy at Airport Avenue. Ample free parking for bikes and cars will be available,
as well
as Breeze Bike Share cycles that can be rented and ridden throughout the campus. A free shuttle will run from 11:30am – 5:30pm on a continuous loop through the airport campus making

a number of key stops. See the map on the Brochure
above for locations.

Parking & Drop-off: A section of parking spots will be reserved for accessible parking in the lot located between Santa Monica Art Studios, 3026 Airport Avenue and the Ruskin

Group Theatre, 3000 Airport Avenue. Vehicles must have a government-issued parking license plate, placard, hangtag or sticker. A parking attendant will be staffing the lot. This
lot marks the center of the event/where the main hub is located and will serve as a drop-off location.

Event Layout:
The ArtWalk takes place in nine buildings along eight blocks of Airport Avenue. There is also an outdoor hub in a section of a parking lot closed to cars. Most of the
venues and studios are on the south side of Airport Avenue though a few are on the north side. Most venues and restrooms are wheelchair accessible, though not all individual
artist studios are.

Getting Around: A free ADA-compliant shuttle will be running from 11:30am – 5:30pm with stops at the bus stop on Bundy and each of the main buildings and parking lots.
If you are using a wheeled mobility device, the sidewalks and the portion of the parking lot closed to cars for the event can be used to traverse from building to building. The
sidewalks and parking lot can be uneven. There is a stop sign on Airport Avenue where the main event hub is, allowing crossing the street to Barker Hanger where a few
studios/venues on the northside of the street are located.

“Pursuing Green Office Certification”

To assist in the efforts of creating a sustainable city, Cultural Affairs not only recognizes the importance of incorporating the City’s sustainable design in its projects, but also values its role in creating a healthy work environment for staff that supports the City’s sustainability policies and models sustainable best practices for the office place.

Cultural Affairs is continuously working towards implementing sustainable practices that will provide staff with a greener and healthier workplace. We have implemented simple practices such as purchasing supplies that will have less impact on the environment, using less-toxic cleaning products, reducing waste, practicing water efficiency, and promoting green commuting by ride-sharing, walking and providing staff with a Bike@Work bicycle.

Cultural Affairs' Green Office Certification is modeled after the Santa Monica Green Business Certification Program, a free program that provides sustainability consultation services to businesses that operate in Santa Monica.
