Parking is expected to be
very limited with 25,000 runners, their families and spectators expected to
fill the City's 12,000 parking spaces
plus available private facilities that choose to open to the public that
day. Walking, biking and using public
transportation options are strongly encouraged to get to a spot on the route if you would like
to cheer on the runners. View public

available on a first-come, first-served basis in Downtown Santa Monica at
city-owned and private parking facilities and at city-owned beach lots.
following guidelines will be in effect for all city-owned lots and structures on
Sunday, March 19:
Midnight – 6AM – Reserved parking for race
participants only in the Civic
Center Lots. All other city-owned lots
and structures are closed. Parking at
on-street meters will be subject to normal regulations.
6AM – 12PM – All lots and structures will be
open, vehicles entering will pay posted rates.
No free Main

beach lots on March 19, 2017.
In addition to city-owned facilities, private parking
operators have committed over 2,000 spaces and the L.A. Marathon continues to
work with additional private parking facility owners.
