Construction and Demolition

Construction and Demolition (C&D) refuse should be sent to an approved recycling facility. All C&D projects bound by the requirements of a Waste Management Plan (WMP) must use the approved haulers and/or recycling facilities chosen in the WMP.

Construction material such as concrete, bricks, drywall, lumber, etc., must be removed by the contractor or you may rent temporary construction containers by authorized private haulers. Please refer to list of approved haulers.

Construction and Demolition Final Compliance 

When submitting a C&D Final Compliance Report, make sure to include all required documents: Inspection Card signed by inspector (if available), all weight tickets from City-approved recycling facility showing net weights and project address, original approved Waste Management Plan, and completed Final Compliance Report. 

Only completed packets will be reviewed for refund. Failure to include all documents will result in delays of processing refund request. Please allow up to 6-8 weeks after a completed packet has been submitted.

Refuse produced by a construction contractor will not be collected by the City. Items such as dirt, brick, block, and concrete should not be mixed with your regular refuse.  Please contact one of the haulers from the Approved Hauler's List
