2300 Wilshire Blvd Mixed Use
Review (14DR-003) and Design Compatibility Permit (14DCP-002) to allow an
extension of 06DR-020 and 06DCP-009 approvals permitting the construction of a
three-story (45 feet) mixed-use building with three levels of subterranean
parking, 22,300 square feet of retail area, 2,700 square feet of restaurant.
On April 18, 2012, the
applicant, Wilshire West LLC, received approvals for Development Review 06-020,
Design Compatibility Permit 06-009, and Vesting Tentative Tract Map 06-034 to
construct a three-story, mixed-use development with 22,283 square feet of
ground floor commercial retail area, 2,700 square feet of restaurant space, and
30 market-rate residential condominium units.
The approvals for the Development Review and Design Compatibility Permit
requests had an expiration date
of May 3, 2013. These permit approvals
were administratively extended for one year subsequent to receiving the
applicant’s timely request, with a new expiration date of May 3, 2014. The applicant is requesting an extension of the
Development Review and associated Design Compatibility Permit. The extension request was received on March
20, 2014, in a timely manner prior to the expiration date.
