Homework Assistance

CREST Homework Club

The Homework Club is an after-school program that gives students academic support and a well structured environment to work on homework for an hour per day Monday - Thursday. The program is offered to children in grades 1-5 at Edison, Grant, McKinley, Muir/SMASH, Roosevelt and Will Rogers Elementary Schools.

  • Dates: August 28, 2017 - May 31, 2018
  • Cost: $425/year

Schedule:

*Hours subject to change based on each school's bell schedule.

  • Grades 1 - 3, Monday - Thursday, 3:00 - 4:00 PM
    *Minimum Days, 1:45 - 2:45 PM
  • Grades 4 - 5, Monday - Thursday, 4:00 - 5:00 PM 
    *Minimum Days, 2:45 - 3:45 PM

Did you know that you can combine CREST programs with the PM extended care option for programming until 6:00pm?

Homework Help at Virginia Avenue Park (Grades 1 - 5)

Virginia Avenue Park is the place to do your homework! A quiet area, supplies and friendly staff are available to assist students with their homework. A computer lab is also available for research, homework and educational games. Please note that this is not a tutoring program.

Police Activities League Homework Room

This program provides a designated workspace to complete homework assignments after school at the youth center.  Trained staff and volunteers provide assistance, supervision and supplies to ensure youth successfully and accurately complete their assignments and special projects to maximize educational enrichment.

  • Hours: Mon-Thu 2:30-6:30 p.m.
    Computers available until 9 p.m.
