Teen Center at Virginia Ave Park: Grades 6 - 12

Virginia Avenue Parks Teen Center offers a variety of free classes and activities year round for those in grades 6-12th. Recreational, academic assistance, cultural arts, field trips are all part of the great programming available. Teen Center is equipped with computers for those looking to do research or type homework assignments.

Teen Center Program

A quiet place for working on assignments and receive help.  Our facility has a library of school text books available at the designated homework room, computer lab and homework help. The Computer Lab is equipped with computers for youth to conduct research and type homework assignments.  Youth can also participate in a variety of active sport activities such as golf, fitness, basketball and more.  Youth must be enrolled to participate.  Fridays are filled with special activities like pizza nights, sports tournaments, movie nights and much more

Artists in Residence

The Artists in Residence program at the Teen Center is a popular Art Program that offers youth opportunities to explore and participate in a variety of art based classes.

Eligibility

Virginia Avenue Park Teen Center Programs are for those in Grades 6-12 and live or go to school in Santa Monica. Space is limited.

Registration & Enrollment

All participants are required to register at the Virginia Avenue Park Teen Center.
