We are excited to let you know that CREST will be running in-person CREST Club beginning on September 21, 2020.  CREST Club is an out-of-school time program that provides 4th & 5th graders with a variety of activities, including onsite supervision during distance learning, homework assistance, outdoor games and activities.  

The City of Santa Monica CREST Club program places the highest value on the health and safety of our community. We are here to help you through this unprecedented public health emergency.  Due to health and safety guidelines, we will have the capacity to serve 24 participants per site. Registration will take place on a first come first serve basis for 4th and 5th grade participants only. Registration will be managed by maintaining both full-fee and financial assistance spaces equally enrolled at 50% each.  Please make sure to enroll before available spots run out!  Please see our attached enrollment packet for more information.  A COVID-19 Liability Waiver will be provided to all enrolled families before the start of program.

*4th & 5th grade students from Edison Language Academy, John Muir Elementary, McKinley Elementary and SMASH are welcome to enroll for CREST Club at any of the CREST program sites listed above.


Program Hours:

Drop off 12:15 p.m.-12:30 p.m.

Distance/Asynchronous Learning Assistance 12:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Activity Period 3:00 p.m.-5:15 p.m.

Pick up 5:15 p.m.-5:30 p.m


Fees:  $550.00 per month


Following LA County guidelines and to reduce person-to-person contact, CREST has put the following registration protocol in place:


REGISTRATION BEGINS: September 15, 2020.  CREST Club payments are due monthly on the 25th for the following month


ONLINE REGISTRATION: Opens at 8:00 a.m. on September 15, 2020. Please visit




DROP-OFF REGISTRATION: Beginning on September 15, 2020, you can drop off full and complete registration forms, including full-payment information, by using the mailbox slot at the Youth Office at Reed Park. Paper registration forms will be processed in the order received during Youth Office business hours.  Hard copies of the enrollment packet will be made available outside of the front door of the CREST Youth Office September 15th-18th and September 21st, from 8AM to 5PM.

In addition, assistance will be available over the phone by calling CREST staff at (310) 458-8540.


REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION: Children not enrolled in 4th or 5th grades, will be automatically dropped and will be issued a full refund.  Once you register in one of the ways listed above, a receipt will be emailed to you with your enrollment confirmation. If you do not receive this confirmation e-mail you should call the CREST Office to double-check that you are fully registered.  Families will receive a welcome email which includes the Parent Handbook outlining our new waiver and illness protocols.  Please make sure to read this thoroughly.
