Beginning at 3:30 p.m., park-goers will be encouraged to provide input for the update to the citywide Parks and Recreation Master Plan. Giveaways, Parks and Rec BINGO, and a Think Tank Vision Board will be a fun way for residents and patrons to provide their thoughts and dream about the future of parks in Santa Monica.

Meeting Room Reservations | Reed Park Auditorium (Joslyn Hall)

The Reed Park Auditorium is available to rent for meetings or events. The auditorium can be configured for small gatherings with a capacity of 46 or larger gatherings with a capacity of 90. Kitchen is not available for rentals. Indoor restroom facility is available.

STEP 1: Check availability calendars
  •  Auditorium East (46 or less participants)
  • Auditorium West (46 or less participants)
  • Entire Auditorium (events 46-90 participants, both East and West must be available)

STEP 2: Fill out the Park Room Reservation Application and save the completed application as a pdf.

STEP 3: Email the saved completed application to communityrecreation@smgov.net

For Fitness Trainers: Reed Park Waives Annual Fee

Reed Park is available to commercial fitness trainers for a boot camp, group yoga practice, or a one-on-one fitness session. The same permitting process is required for Reed Park as in all of Santa Monica’s parks and at Santa Monica State Beach. However, trainers who commit to using Reed Park exclusively will have the quarterly use charge waived (other fees still apply) and be part of the ongoing transformation and activation of the space.
