COMMINGLED RECYCLING SERVICES
Solid Waste Management will provide commingled recycle containers to Santa Monica commercial customers. These may be collected daily, if necessary, from the area of regular collection service. BEVERAGE CONTAINER RECYCLING
Solid Waste Management provides beverage container recycling for City of Santa Monica restaurants and bars. A 38-gallon container for cans, glass, and plastic beverage containers may be serviced daily, if necessary. There is no additional charge for commingled beverage recycling containers.

EXTRA RECYCLING COLLECTION CONTAINERS There is no additional charge for extra recycling containers. If you have more recyclable materials than your container(s) can hold, please contact the Solid Waste Management Division at (310) 458-2223 to obtain more containers for your materials. However, if the materials are not in the designated container the materials will not be collected.

FOOD WASTE RECYCLING
The Solid Waste Division provides food waste recycling containers, at no additional charge, to restaurants that have city refuse collection service. Participants are required to separate all organic waste and place it into special containers provided by the city.

BULKY ITEM SERVICES
Solid Waste provides bulky item collection every Friday for a prearranged fee. The fee varies according to the size and weight of the item, and ranges from $25 for a small item to $250 or more for a major cleanup of debris and furniture pieces. Bulky items are limited to those large items that do not fit in a refuse container, such as refrigerators, stoves, furniture and similar items.

To arrange for a bulky item collection or for more information about this special service, please contact Solid Waste at (310) 458-2223, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

SPECIAL PICK-UP ITEMS
Refuse produced by a construction contractor will not be collected.
Dirt, brick, block, and concrete should not be mixed with your regular refuse. Call (310) 458-2223 for fee-based bulky collection service for items excluded from routine collection, such as furniture, moving debris, old appliances, etc. Requests for special collections should be made by Tuesday for collection that week. Please let us know what type of material you have when you call.

EXTRA REFUSE
Solid Waste provides extra collection services to businesses with city collection refuse service for an additional cost. Charges will be assessed depending on the number of additional collection container(s).
