920 - Preparing for Parenting

If you are pregnant, good prenatal care is essential to giving your baby a healthy start in life. Along with a healthy diet, prenatal care includes regular visits to a health care provider. The Venice Family Clinic and Westside Family Health Center provide low-cost or free health care to expectant mothers and fathers. Medi-Cal is also accepted.

To make an appointment at the Venice Family Clinic call (310) 392-8636 or call the Westside Family Health Center at (310) 450-2191. For help with nutritional needs, call 392-8636.

If you are pregnant or a parenting teen, call the School-Aged Parent Infant Development Program at (310) 450-8338, Ext. 338.
