884 - Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District

There are ten elementary schools, two middle schools, three high schools and an alternative K-8 school in the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District (SMMUSD), serving Santa Monica and Malibu residents.

The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District Board of Trustees meets the first and third Thursday of each month. Public meetings begin at 7 p.m. in either the district's board room, located at 1651 16th Street, the City Council Chamber, 1685 Main Street, or at Malibu High School, 30215 Morningview Drive in Malibu . Agendas for the meetings are available for review at all of the district's schools, Santa Monica Public Library branches, on-line at www.smmusd.org and at the school board meeting.
