842 - Big Blue Bus General Information

The City of Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus operates more than 15 routes across 51 square miles of Santa Monica, the LA’s Westside and Downtown LA. All bus lines operate Monday-Saturday, and most operate on Sundays and holidays, too. In addition to the Big Blue Buses, the City of Santa Monica’s public transportation system includes Rapid 3 service from LAX to Downtown Santa Monica, and Mini Blue Rides: smaller buses that make faster, local trips within city limits.
