If you receive a ticket issued by the Santa Monica Police Department within the city limits, your ticket may direct you to appear at the Santa Monica Municipal Court. If the citation alleges minor violations such a speeding or improper U-turn, known as infractions, please call 260-3506. If the citation alleges more serious violations such as driving without a license or drunk driving, known as misdemeanors, please call 260-3517.

All municipal court appearances are held in the Santa Monica Court Building located at 1725 Main Street next to City Hall. Administrative offices, clerical offices, cashiers and probation officers are also located within the courthouse. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
