Condominiums (including TORCA conversions) may or may not be covered by the City of Santa Monica 's Rent Control Law, depending on a variety of factors such as: whether they were built as condominiums or converted from apartments; if they were converted, when the conversion occurred; if they were built as condominiums, when they were built.
