Federal and state law prohibit discrimination against individuals based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, children, age or physical disability. The City Attorney's Office handles complaints of housing discrimination in the City of Santa Monica.

If you believe you have been discriminated against, call the City Attorney's Office at (310) 458-8336. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and alternate Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. After hours and on weekends, you may leave a message and your call will be returned on the next business day.
