  Sports League Managers’ and Players’ Meetings: All information and forms are handed out at the required meetings held on the dates specified below at 8 p.m. at the Memorial Park Gym Office. All officials’ fees must be paid prior to each game.
 
Spin logo 7 ON 7 SOCCER FOR WOMEN, COED AND MEN Games are played Monday –Friday nights, 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Cost is $400 for resident teams, $500 for non resident plus a $15 per game official fee.
 
Spin logo 11 ON 11 SOCCER WOMEN, COED, AND MEN Games are played Saturday and or Sunday from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Cost is $1,000 for resident teams, $1100 for non resident teams plus a $60 per game official’s fee.
 
Spin logo 6-PERSON TEAM COED VOLLEYBALL Games are played on Tuesday and Thursday nights, from 6:40–10 p.m. Cost is $200 per team plus a $15 per game officials’ fee. The required managers’ meeting is June 19.
 
Spin logo WOMEN’S AND MEN’S BASKETBALL Games are played Monday through Thursday nights, from 7–10 p.m. Cost is $250 per team plus a $30 per game officials’ fee. The required managers’ meeting is June 11.
 
Spin logo CO-ED SOFTBALL Games are played on Sundays. Cost is $330 per team plus a $15 per game officials’ fee. The required managers’ meeting is June 19.
 
Spin logo WOMEN’S SOFTBALL Games are played on Mondays. Cost is $330 per team plus a $15 per game officials’ fee. The required managers’ meeting is June 18.
 
Spin logo MEN’S SOFTBALL Games are played on Tuesday through Friday nights, 6:40 – 10 p.m. Cost is $350 per team plus a $15 per game officials’ fee. The required managers’ meeting is June 25.
 
  SENIOR DROP-IN BASKETBALL PLAY Basketball play for women and men 50 years old and up. Takes place Thursdays, 8–10 p.m. Fee: $1 residents, $2 non-resident
 
  OPEN GYMNASIUM PLAY The 10,000+ square foot gym is open to the public Mon–- Fri, 12 noon–3 p.m., Mon, Wed & Fri, 6–10 p.m., Sat & Sun, 12 noon – 9 p.m. There are 6 basketball courts and 3 volleyball courts. The gymnasium is also available to rent. For information, call (310)458-8300.

THE COVE-SANTA MONICA SKATEPARK

The Cove logo

The Cove has lights! The Cove, Santa Monica Skatepark is located in Memorial Park and offers a variety of features for beginning and advanced skateboarders and bikers (please note that hours of use are designated for skaters and bikers). The Cove is open daily during the summer, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Safety gear (helmet, hard-shell elbow and knee pads) is required when using this 20,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility. NEW SKATEBOARDING CLASSES

Come hone your craft at The Cove! Learn the skateboarding tools you need to become a major ripper! Maximum of four participants per class. Skateboard and safety gear required. Please visit thecove.smgov.net for class fees.

Emphasizes basic techniques and drills essential for 2- and 4-person play, such as player movement, body control, jumping and running. Have fun, enjoy the beach and make new friends.

Locations: All classes park near Perry Pizza at 2030 Ocean Ave. Lot #4 (just north of Ocean Park Blvd.). Free parking pass provided. Instructor: Greg Venturi and Association of Beach Volleyball Coaches (ABVC). 10 years and up, including seniors.
