The City of Santa Monica is dedicated to preventing and addressing homelessness in our community. Our collaborative approach spans prevention, outreach, permanent housing, transitional housing and shelter, and supportive services. Together, we are working to address homelessness in our city.
Read the Results of the 2013 Santa Monica Homeless Count
City staff presented the results of Santa Monica's 2013 Homeless Count to the Social Services Commission on February 25th. Overall, the City witnessed a 1% increase in homelessness. Read more here about our plan to address the issue.
Annual Review to City Council
A review of the City's Plan for Homeless Services took place on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Conducted as a public hearing before City Council, this is an opportunity for the community to provide input on strategies to address homelessness.
