Santa Monica Public Library presents Happy Days Healthy Living with Cathy Silvers on Monday, December 17, at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Library’s MLK Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd. Cathy will discuss and demonstrate recipes from her book, Happy Days Healthy Living, a celebrity autobiography and tale of a journey to a healthful and living-foods lifestyle. The audience will be treated to screenings of her shows, The Healthy Living Show and The Healthy Living Kids Show. A tasting and book signing will follow the demonstration.

Cathy Silvers is the daughter of 1950s comedian Phil Silvers; in her teens, she won the coveted role of Jenny Piccolo on the iconic TV series Happy Days. When Cathy married a cancer surgeon and became a mother, her interest in health and lifestyle became first a passion, then a career. With her online shows, Silvers has the opportunity of share her knowledge and personal experiences; she hopes to show other families how to live the healthy lifestyle.
