FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Santa Monica Public Library presents Holiday Entertaining Ideas from the Farmers’ Market with Amelia Saltsman on Thursday, October 25, at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Library’s MLK Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd. From easy table decorations to simple festive dishes, the Santa Monica Farmers’ Market offers all the makings. Amelia Saltsman demonstrates sustainable decorating ideas and delicious food from her book, The Santa Monica Farmers’ Market Cookbook. A tasting and book signing will follow the demonstration. Amelia Saltsman is a writer, cooking teacher, and host and producer of the television program Fresh from the Farmers’ Market, which teaches viewers how to shop for both common and uncommon ingredients and how to use them in exciting, simple dishes full of bright flavors. This program is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and on a first arrival basis.
