The Santa Monica Public Library is pleased to present Come On Down! Behind the Big Doors at "The Price is Right," with author Stan Blits, on Saturday, October 6, 2007, at 3:00 p.m., in the Main Library’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Boulevard.

Following on the heels several highly successful entertainment-related events, including a writers’ panel from the classic sitcom The Golden Girls, as well actors Harry Shearer, Teri Garr, Tab Hunter, and Marcia Wallace, the Santa Monica Public Library continues the theme with this behind-the-scenes look at the popular game show, "The Price Is Right."  Stan Blits, the author of the new official guide, Come on Down! Behind the Big Doors at "The Price Is Right," and also a longtime co-producer, music director, contestant coordinator and staff writer for the show, will take audience members on a fun tour at what makes "price" tick.

This special Library event is free and open to the public.  Auditorium seating is limited and on a first-arrival basis.  No prior reservations are available.
