The Bright Light Chamber Players return with a breezy, cool concert of chamber music on Saturday, 25 August, 2:00 p.m. in the Santa Monica Public Library’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium.   The program will include a string quartet with saxophone, newly composed by Scott Detweiller, along with some chamber music classics.

The Bright Light Chamber Players were the featured artists in last year’s celebration of Mozart’s 250th birthday celebration.  This year sees the return of Claire Temin, flute, James Kohfeld, piano, and Whitney Griggs Raleigh, cellist and music director.

The library is located at 601 Santa Monica Boulevard.  Seating is limited and on a first-arrival basis. Free tickets available one hour before event.
