LOS ANGELES TEENS FROM CITY AT PEACE WILL PERFORM SCENES FROM "FREEDOM BOUND" AT SMPL

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Santa Monica Public Library invites youth in grades 5 and up and adults to view a performance showcase by City at Peace Los Angeles teens on Saturday, June 30 at 3:00 p.m. This diverse group of teenagers from across Los Angeles will perform scenes from their original musical drama, "Freedom Bound," in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium at the Santa Monica Public Library, 601 Santa Monica Blvd. City at Peace Los Angeles is a nationally recognized nonprofit youth organization that uses performing arts as a way to develop youth leadership. “Freedom Bound” is a full-length musical based on the lives and experiences of the City at Peace Los Angeles cast and provides eye-opening and inspiring thoughts on their vision for their futures.
