Santa Monica Public Library presents An Afternoon with Paul Cummins on Saturday, May 26 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. in the Main Library’s Martin Luther King Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Boulevard.

Paul F. Cummins is the co-founder of Crossroads and New Roads Schools.  Currently he is the executive director of the New Visions Foundation, a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to find innovative ways to deliver education to as many underserved children as possible.  Mr. Cummins will discuss his book, Two Americas Two Educations: Funding Quality Schools for All Students, an examination of the ever-growing divide of education opportunities and offers solutions for reform.  A book sale and signing will follow the event, courtesy of Village Books.
