MOTHER/DAUGHTER TEA PARTY AT THE SANTA MONICA PUBLIC LIBRARY

To celebrate Mother’s Day, the Santa Monica Public Library will host a Mother/Daughter Tea Party on Saturday, May 12, at 2:00 p.m. in the Main Library’s Multipurpose Room, 601 Santa Monica Boulevard.

Girls in kindergarten to 5th grade and their moms or guardians are invited to put on their prettiest dresses and hats to enjoy an afternoon of tea, treats and crafts together.  Participants will be treated to a short lesson on tea etiquette, a solo performance from a classical violinist, and other fun activities. 

Registration is required as seating is limited.  Sign-ups will begin on Monday, April 2 and close on Tuesday, May 1.  Interested persons should register at the Main Library’s Youth Reference Desk or call (310) 458-8621 to reserve a spot.
