CELEBRATING "THE GOLDEN GIRLS" AT SANTA MONICA PUBLIC LIBRARY

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Santa Monica Public Library is pleased to present “Thank You For Being A Friend: All About The Golden Girls” with author Jim Colucci on Sunday, January 21, 2007, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Main Library’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium. A freelance television writer, Jim Colucci is the author of The Q Guide To The Golden Girls, a witty, trivia-packed look back at the classic television sitcom starring Betty White, Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty. At the Santa Monica Public Library, Mr. Colucci will be joined onstage by very special guests to share funny anecdotes and backstage stories about the show, as well as explore what makes "The Golden Girls" such an enduring comedy classic. A book sale and signing will follow the discussion. This program is free and all ages are welcome. Tickets for auditorium seating will be available thirty minutes prior to the program.
