"ONE SATURDAY AFTERNOON WITH AMY EPHRON" AT SANTA MONICA PUBLIC LIBRARY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Santa Monica Public Library will present "One Saturday Afternoon with Amy Ephron" on Saturday, July 15, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m., in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Boulevard. Join us as we welcome best-selling author Amy Ephron for a discussion and book signing, celebrating the paperback release of her latest novel, One Sunday Morning. Set in New York in the Jazz Age 1920s, the novel opens as four women, attending a bridge party at the Gramercy Park Hotel, see another woman, whom they all know, leaving with a man who is not her husband. What follows is a tale of wealth, society and scandal that brilliantly captures the Roaring Twenties. Ms. Ephron will be introduced by her friend and fellow writer, Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey, author of such notable novels as A Woman of Independent Means, Life Sentences, Home Free, and Joanna’s Husband and David’s Wife. For more information about this free public program, contact the Santa Monica Public Library at (310) 458-8600; or visit the Library’s web site at www.smpl.org. ###
