Located in the heart
of Santa Monica’s Pico Neighborhood, Virginia Avenue Park provides a
broad variety of educational and recreational programs, as well as
social services and employment assistance. Virginia Avenue Park
also has a 2.9 -acre open lawn area with a meandering
path, picnic tables, barbeques, two full size basketball courts, two
playgrounds and free Wi-Fi internet access.

There currently is a wait list for both the elementary and middle school
Summer Adventure Program. Space is available for all
Teen Center programs and PAL fitness classes. |
K9 Connection is a new program at the Teen Center that will run from
July 10- August 1. Visit the Teen Center for more information. |
Virginia Avenue Park now offers
programming on Saturdays. Saturday programming includes activities
/ classes for youth, families & seniors. |

City’s Human Services Division offers Senior Latino Club on Thursdays
from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Call 310.458.8644 for more details.
Occasional bus trips from Virginia Avenue Park
supported with Prop A. Funds and are open to the public. Space is limited.

The High School and Middle School Programs are located
in the the 2101 building. The Teen Center includes a recording
studio, quiet study space and a large recreation room. |

The VAPAB advises City staff and provides the public with a monthly forum to
voice their comments on all aspects of Virginia Avenue Park. The board meets the
1st Monday of each month. |

Organization meets at Virginia Avenue Park the 3rd Tuesday of each
month.
