Q. I am a
senior who wants to move to Santa Monica.
How can I get help looking for an affordable
place to rent?
A.
Unfortunately, affordable housing is
difficult to find on the west side of Los
Angeles county. In Santa Monica, there are
several affordable seniors buildings, as
well as a range of affordable housing open
to anyone with a qualifying income. Check
the
Housing Division's list of project-based
affordable housing and contact each agency
to learn about their application and
qualifying process.
