WHERE TO GET HELP...

local services is to go to
OPCC's Access Center or
St. Joseph's
Homeless Service Center (see information below)--please be
advised that due to heavy demand, many other shelter and service providers in the Santa Monica
area require a referral and may not accept walk-ins.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Getting from homeless to
housed can be a long and difficult process.
The agencies listed above will help a client
navigate the
Continuum of Care
along with available County and State programs.
Once a homeless client gets in touch with one of
these agencies, a link can be established to
talk one-on-one with a case manager. Case
managers will learn about the individual needs
of a client and help him or her create a plan.
The case manager may make referrals to other
programs including emergency shelter,
transitional housing, substance abuse recovery,
medical or mental health services.
