HOMELESS COMMUNITY COURT

Started in February 2007, the court is a joint project with the County of Los Angeles intended to assist homeless clients access services including drug and alcohol treatment, mental health treatment, emergency shelter, employment, and move toward permanent housing.  The Court is presided over by the honorable Bobbi Tillmon and holds monthly sessions in the City of Santa Monica.  Social service agency staff members work jointly with the Judge and other Court staff to develop a treatment plan for each Court participant.
