ANALYSIS |
Residential perception of safety can be affected by multiple influences. Increased police presence, neighborhood involvement, improved neighborhood appearance and expanding nuisance abatement can all contribute to a community’s sense of safety. Additionally, a sense of responsiveness to the needs of residents can also contribute to the perception of safety.
