Santa Monica Green Map

The
Santa Monica Green Map depicts the ecological, environmental and cultural resources found in our community. Displaying everything from waterways, wildlife migration routes and wetlands to bike paths, recycling facilities and green businesses, the full-color map encourages residents and visitors alike to become aware and take advantage of the abundance of resources and opportunities that contribute to sustainable living and our quality of life.  Email our office in order to have a printed version of the map mail to your home.

The Latest Studies of the Bay

  • The Santa Monica Bay Restoration Commission conducts large-scale studies and maintains a comprehensive website.  Generally, the studies conclude that it is safe to swim in the waters off Santa Monica Beaches, as long as swimmers heed signs at flowing storm drains.
