Sales Tax Rate
for the city of Santa Monica is 8.25% in
this part of Los Angeles County, but changes pending at the state level may
affect that, so you should always confirm the rate with the Franchise Tax
Board.
Transient Occupancy
Tax (tax on overnight
lodging) is 14%
Utility User Taxes are 10% for all utilities.
