What we do
The Administrative Services Division provides administrative support to the divisions of the Public Works Department. Activities include preparing the department budget and assisting with long range capital improvements project planning; managing the public right of way; developing and implementing departmental policies, priorities and work plan items; and conducting specialized research and analysis. This division is also responsible the management of Street Maintenance and Woodlawn Cemetery.

As of August 16, 2010, the Maintenance Management and Custodial Services divisions previously under the Community Maintenance Department are now merged with the Public Works Department in a Citywide effort to streamline operatioins while maintaining quality of services.
