Maps and Geographic Information System

The GIS team has developed interactive map applications for your use on our Internet site. This means that you can simply work with GIS map data using your web browser instead of using GIS software that has to be installed on your computer. The goal of serving maps over our internet is to provide you with easier access to city-wide data. Our interactive map applications run best in Internet Explorer 8.x, Safari 5.x, and Mozilla Firefox 3.x browsers. Make sure to turn off your popup blocker when using our interactive map applications. |
View and download many of our city maps that detail pertinent city zoning and other information such as bike routes, districting, election precincts, Fire and Police Department districts, speed limits, zip codes and much more. |
Coming soon! For those that use GIS software, you will be able to download our latest core datasets for your own spatial analysis and map creation. |
Have questions on navigation and use of our Interactive Map applications, even after reading the Interactive Map Guide? Become a GIS power user! Our GIS lab offers training twice a year in the fall and spring to residents interested in formal training to use the city’s interactive map applications. |
