The seventh and most recent Santa Monica Resident Satisfaction Survey was conducted in January 2007 by an independent research firm. 400 local households reflecting the city's key demographics (including age, ethnicity, income and residence status) were polled by phone about the quality of city services and issues of concern. The research firm also polled an additional 17 Latino households to assess attitudinal differences toward city services, policy issues and priorities.
