Study Session – The Council 2007-08 Budget Study Sessions begun at the Council meeting of May 22, reconvened at 5:45 p.m. on May 23, with presentations by the Library, Big Blue Bus, Community & Cultural Services, Planning & Community Development, Environmental & Public Works Management and Housing & Economic Development departments. As on the previous night, questions posed by Council were noted, with answers to be provided by staff in writing prior to the public hearing on and adoption of the budget on June 12, 2007.

Adjournment and Next Meeting - The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 p.m. The next meeting of the Santa Monica City Council is a special meeting on Thursday, May 24, 2007 beginning at 5:45 p.m. in the wheelchair-accessible Council Chamber at City Hall.  Council meetings are aired live on CityTV Channel 16 and on the Netcast on the city's website and, for regularly scheduled meetings, from 8 p.m. to midnight on KCRW 89.9 FM.
