Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Social Services Commission will be held on Monday, December 11, 2006 beginning at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the following business:

 

1.      Call to Order

 

2.      Roll Call

 

3.      Approval of Minutes

 

4.      Public Input: Public comment is permitted only on items not on the agenda that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the body. A chit should be completed indicating items for public input.

 

5.      Staff Updates

 

6.      Urban Institute: Presentation from The Urban Institute Regarding Evaluation of Santa Monica’s Homeless Programs and Service Delivery System; and Discussion and Possible Action Regarding this Evaluation

 

7.      FY07-08 Budget:  Discussion and Action for Input to City Council Regarding FY07-08 City Budget Priorities and Issues including Community Development Grants

 

8.      Discussion, follow up, and possible action on the Commission’s November retreat

 

9.      Adjournment
