Commission for the Senior Community

The City of Santa Monica Commission for the Senior Community is a longstanding, all-volunteer Commission appointed by City Council that focuses on the quality of life of seniors in the City. The Commission makes recommendations to City Council on a wide range of issues relevant to older adults in Santa Monica and provides opportunities to educate seniors, their families, and caregivers on them. The nine commissioners meet monthly on the third Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Ken Edwards Center, 1527 4th St.

The public is welcome to attend, and Santa Monica residents interested in serving on the Commission can apply by calling the City Clerk's office at (310) 458-8211 or by going online to: www.smgov.net/communication/cityforms/Board_Comm/coa3.asp
