Education
Santa Monica’s adult population
has attained higher levels of education compared to
Los Angeles County. Table 1.4 shows that of the
67,176 Santa Monica residents over 25 years of age,
91.0% have attained at least a high school degree,
and 54.8% have attained a Bachelor’s degree or
higher, while only about one quarter, 24.9%, of
those in Los Angeles County hold a Bachelor’s degree
or higher.
