By law, people with disabilities must get equal access to housing and to virtually all places of business.

A “disability” is a physical, mental, or cognitive impairment that limits one or more major life activities for a person. It includes cancer and AIDS.

We take complaints and answer questions from residents and local businesses about possible violations of the disability rights laws.
