Bands

The Sunday Main Street Farmers Market is the only Farmers Market in Santa Monica with an entertainment section.  Bands may apply annually each April to perform for each fiscal year (June - July).  Musical Entertainers may apply to perform at SMFMs during the open application period each year by responding to the Request for Qualification (RFQ).

Evaluation Criteria

Each applicant is evaluated by a selection committee.  The evaluation criteria include, but is not limited to:

• Type of music
• Quality of music
• Preference is to give opportunities to many different musicians.
• Experience performing in outdoor venues
• Previous performance success and behavior

Face Painters & Balloon Designers

The Sunday Main Street Farmers Market is the only Farmers Market in Santa Monica with a children's entertainment section and includes face painters and balloon designers.  For participation information call the Sunday Farmers Market Manager at 310-458-8712 x 5.
