On race day, Sunday, March 17, buses will run only as far west as 11th St. Riders can expect normal Sunday operations within Santa Monica to resume by approximately 8 p.m., and normal Sunday bus service to areas outside of Santa Monica by about 4 p.m.
Schedule
All routes will operate on a Sunday schedule. Routes 4 & 9 will not be in service until approximately 4 p.m.
Free Shuttle
BBB will provide a courtesy shuttle to loop in both directions between Wilshire Blvd, 11th St., Colorado Ave. and 6th St. from approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For riders/employees coming to Downtown Santa Monica
Your bus will drop you off on 11th St. You can then walk downtown or catch the complimentary BBB shuttle, which will bring you as far west as 6th St.
For riders/employees leaving Downtown Santa Monica
You can catch the complimentary shuttle on 6th St. to the “main bus stop” on 11th St. at Colorado Ave. or walk there, where you can catch most buses leaving Santa Monica. Some buses (including Metro buses) may be using Lincoln Ave. at Olympic Blvd. instead; if this is needed, the “main bus stop” on 11th St. at Colorado will have signs and staff letting riders know.
