Green Building: Local Suppliers
|
This is a list of green building materials and where to find them locally. Some of the materials on this list can help you comply with the City’s Code Requirements, while others may just be helpful for your new construction or renovation project. This list is provided for information only, and the City of Santa Monica makes no claims, guarantees, warrants, or recommendations. As always, you should check with your local supplier to get specific information about the product, pricing, and availability.

Real-Time Solar in Santa Monica
|
|
The 180 kW solar array atop the Civic Center Parking Structure can be
monitored using a system called Fat Spaniel. The system records data
every few minutes about the panels’ power production. Every
kilowatt-hour of clean solar energy production reduces the amount of
pollutants entering our atmosphere.
