Landscape Sustainable Landscape Professionals
|
Since 2006, the Sustainable Landscape Professionals program has been the local source for
landscape professionals to share pertinent information about sustainable landscaping. This
information includes the latest technologies in water-efficient irrigation systems, smart
irrigation controllers, climate appropriate plants, rainwater harvesting, permeable paving
and more. In order to improve the implementation of the City’s local landscaping requirements
that conform to the State’s Model Landscape Ordinance which requires licensed professionals to
design and install permitted landscapes, the SLP Program has expanded into two new and
distinct professional program groups and educational series.
