One Stop Prep Shop

The City of Santa Monica recognizes that putting together an emergency preparedness kit requires time and effort.  To take the inconvenience out assembling your own disaster kit, OEM developed the "One Stop Prep Shop for Emergency Preparedness".

We invite local vendors to participate by selling specific emergency preparedness supplies to make it as convenient as possible for people to be prepared.

OEM hosted two "Prep Shop" events in 2011, during which more than 300 individual purchases were made and over $20,000 in sales were generated.

The City of Santa Monica is committed to hosting several more "Prep Shops" in 2012.
